Challenge
The client was having issues internally with the several workflows that were handled manually. While the client had planned to use Docker, they faced a problem of orchestration involving multiple containers. Being a newer technology, some of the stakeholders were apprehensive about the technology.
Technical challenge was to integrate in short time number of on premise banking systems.
Solution
The Actinolix team has ample prior experience in handling similar projects and used applicable business cases in predicting possible issues that might come up and laid down plans on how to overcome them. It helped the project to run smoothly, and the team orchestrated the deployment on the new Docker system. A migration plan was prepared and strictly followed to prevent any unwanted surprises. The team also carried out automation of the human-centric processes using IBM Robotic Process Automation.
Result
The project led to the automation of the incumbent process and migration to Docker without any major glitches. The Actinolix team handled the project until it was stabilized and continue to troubleshoot minor issues and queries from the users. The deployment led to a 25% improvement in productivity within the first five months.
